Arnold Joselyn Foko Kengne is a development economist based in Yaoundé, Cameroon. He holds a PhD (highest distinction), and is affiliated with LAREFA (University of Dschang) and CEREG (University of Yaoundé II).
His research focuses on territorial inequality, local governance, decentralization, migration, energy poverty, and entrepreneurship across Francophone Africa, with strong applied econometrics expertise using Afrobarometer, DHS, and PNDP microdata in Stata. His doctoral thesis examined the effects of entrepreneurship on sustainable local development in Cameroon, and he developed a proprietary local development indicator (IDLD).
