I am Kellian Mbianda a conflict analyst with professional experience in diplomacy, governance, and peacebuilding. I hold a Master’s degree in International Relations and have worked with government institutions including the British High Commission in Cameroon, the Ministry of External Relations, and civil society organizations engaged in conflict prevention and humanitarian response in volatile context.

I am the author of articles on conflict and insecurity in central Sahel region, with a particular focus on failed governance as a driver of instability, violent extremism, and social fragmentation. My research interests include conflict trend issues, governance, forced displacement, and regional security dynamics in Africa.

I am currently working on a research paper titled “Conflict Minerals: Rape as a Weapon of Conflict in Eastern DRC,” which examines the relationship between minerals exploitation, armed violence, and conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV) in the Eastern DRC.
