Syndie Rhianne Makeutche is a bilingual development and human rights professional with experience in civil society engagement, governance, gender equality, humanitarian affairs, and programme coordination across Africa. She has worked with the Innovation Foundation for Democracy, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) Central Africa Regional Office, and grassroots civil society organisations in Cameroon.
Her experience includes coordinating multi-stakeholder programmes, supporting policy dialogue and advocacy, designing and monitoring capacity-building initiatives, and engaging with civil society organisations, government institutions, development partners, and diplomatic actors. At the Innovation Foundation for Democracy, she has contributed to democracy and gender-focused initiatives and coordinated programmes involving more than numerous CSOs and experts across Africa.
Syndie holds a Master’s degree in Human Rights from the Catholic University of Central Africa and a Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Yaoundé II. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Law. Her professional interests include human rights, democratic governance, gender equality, women’s and youth participation, and inclusive development.
