Harrison Ashangwa is an Environmental Engineer, climate and sustainability professional, and researcher with over eight years of experience advancing evidence-based solutions for cleaner air, sustainable mobility, climate action, and environmental justice. He is the Founder of Clean Air Initiative Cameroon and Executive Director of the International Student Environmental Coalition (ISEC), where he leads youth-driven initiatives that strengthen environmental governance, empower young people, and translate research into practical policy and community action.

Through Clean Air Initiative Cameroon, Harrison leads efforts to improve air quality through research, monitoring and open data, policy advocacy, and public awareness, helping communities and decision-makers advance cleaner air and healthier, more resilient cities.
Harrison has secured multiple international funding to implement innovative environmental projects and has worked with governments, civil society, researchers, and international organizations across Africa and beyond. His expertise spans air quality, sustainable mobility, circular economy, environmental education, and climate policy. Through international fellowships and collaborations, he continues to champion science-driven solutions, inclusive decision-making, and sustainable development.
