Alvine Melissa Atimouat Nzama is a PhD Student in Development Economics at the University of Yaoundé II-Soa, Cameroon. Her research focuses on financial inclusion and its implications for economic transformation, institutional capacity, social inequalities, and sustainable development in developing countries. Her broader research interests include development economics, digital finance, financial governance, economic complexity, and evidence-based public policy.

She has contributed to research and policy-oriented projects on mobile money taxation, financial capacity, and green innovation in Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, including through collaborations with the ICTD/Institute of Development Studies and the ECAFI project. Her work combines quantitative economic analysis with a strong interest in translating research evidence into actionable policy recommendations for developing economies, particularly in Africa.
