He serves as the Executive Director of Intelligence Artificielle Cameroun (Cameroon AI Policy Institute), where he champions the integration of localized technology to solve regional issues, particularly in agriculture and enterprise decision-making. Kouekam academic background is rooted in communication and international relations, having studied at the prestigious École Supérieure des Sciences et Techniques de l’Information et de la Communication (ESSTIC) and the Institut des Relations Internationales du Cameroun (IRIC).

His early research focused on media and journalism, including investigative work on systemic issues affecting local youth.As a thought leader in AI policy, Kouekam actively shapes the future of digital administration and e-governance across Central Africa.
